12 Strategies to Boost Rizq

Ar-Razzaq, which is one of Allah’s 99 names and means “The Total Provider/The Sustainer,” is one of those 99 names. We have everything we require to survive in this world thanks to Allah. They are referred to as Rizq, which generally means Provisions.

The following are the 12 methods to raise your Rizq:

1. REPENTANCE FROM SINS (TAWBAH).

Ask your Lord for forgiveness; He will send you plenty of rain because He is a merciful God. And give you more children and money, and give you gardens, and give you rivers.”
Nooh Surah 71:10–12

2. TAQWA (GOD-CONSCIOUSNESS, PIETY)

Whoever fears Allah and fulfills his obligation to Him, He will provide a path for him to escape (from every difficulty). And He will make provision for him from places he does not anticipate.
[At-Talaq: 71:2–3]

3. MAINTAINING KINSHIP TIES

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is reported to have said, “Whoever would desire his provision to be ample and his lifespan to be extended, let him uphold his connections of kinship,” according to Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him).

4. SADAQAH (GIVING CHARITY)

Say: “Truly, my Lord increases and decreases the provision of His slaves for whom He pleases, and He will make up any expenditure you make for Allah’s cause. Additionally, He is the Best Provider.
[Quranic verse 34:39]

The likeness of individuals who spend their money according to Allah’s will is likened to a kernel of corn, which has seven ears and 100 grains apiece.

And for those whom Allah wills, He multiplies [His recompense]. And Allah is All-Knowing and All-Sufficient for the needs of His creatures.
Verse 261 of Sura al-Baqarah

5. IBAADAH (WORSHIP)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), according to Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him), said, “Allah says, O son of Adam! Take some time to regularly worship me; if you don’t, I’ll eliminate your poverty and fill your heart with joy. I’ll keep your hands busy all the time, but I won’t make you rich.

Ibn Majah 4107, Tirmidhi 2466, and Musnad Imam Ahmad. As-Saheehah 1359 authentication.]

6. PERFORMING UMRAH AND HAJJ

Perform the Hajj and Umrah back-to-back, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stated, according to Abdullah Ibn Masood (may Allah be pleased with him). As the bellows removes the dross of iron, gold, and silver, so too does the succession between the two (rituals) erase poverty and eradicate sins. And the only reward for performing the Hajj without committing a sin is paradise.

7. TAWAKKUL (RELIANCE UPON ALLAH ALONE)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is reported to have said, “If you would believe in Allah as sincerely as He should be trusted, He would undoubtedly provide for you as He provides for the birds,” according to Umar Ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). They go early in the morning on an empty stomach and return later in the day on a full stomach.
[Musnad Imam Ahmad, Tirmidhi 2344, Ibn Majah 4164. As-Saheehah 310: [Authenticated.]

8. AN-NIKAAH (MARRIAGE)

And marry off the single people among you as well as the upright male and female slaves. If they should be in need, Allah will enrich them from His generosity because He is All-Knowing and All-Comprehensive.
An-Nur 24:32 in the Qur’an

9. DUA (SUPPLICATION)

When praying the morning prayer, the Prophet (may Allah have mercy on him) would say, “O Allah, I ask You for knowledge which is beneficial and sustenance which is good, and deeds which are acceptable,” after saying, “Asalaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmahtullah to the right and then to the left.” This is according to Umm Salamah (may Allah have mercy on her).
(Ibn Majah, 3843, 926)

10. Gratitude and Allah’s Praise

“And [remember] when your Lord said, “If you show ingratitude, indeed, My punishment is severe; but if you show gratitude, I will surely increase you [in favor].”
(Surah Ibrahim, verse 7)

11. TRADE AND BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS SHOULD BE HONEST AND FAIR

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is reported to have remarked, “The two parties to a transaction have the right (to annul the contract) as long as they do not separate,” according to Akim ibn Azim (may Allah be pleased with him) (from each other). They will therefore be blessed in their transaction if they were truthful (to one another) and honest in discussing (the flaws of an item). However, if they lied and concealed (a product’s flaws), their transaction’s benefits are lost.
[Qur’an 10:3661]

And don’t murder your kids out of poverty-related anxiety. They and you are provided for by Us (Allah). Indeed, it is a serious sin to murder them.
